1. Download the script in either Word format or PDF format http://vyea.com/web/MandarinRoad/TheMandarinRoadScript.doc or http://vyea.com/web/MandarinRoad/TheMandarinRoadScript.pdf Review the script as carefully as you can. To find out which songs or diagolues to practice for, given your intended role(s), look at the first few pages where the tables are. 2. Practice the dialogues. 3. Practice the songs by listening to the CD. The track number (1,2 3, etc) is the same as the song number in the script. For example Song “S1” in the script is the first song in the Audio CD. Practice a few songs, but include at least #5 (na`y Ngu+o+`i O+i). That goes for every role, boy's or girl's, so we can compare. 4. If you wish you can download the musical scores: http://vyea.com/web/MandarinRoad/TheMandarinRoadScores.pdf (1.8 MB file) Note that most of the songs in the CD are 5 half-notes lower than indicated in the scores. This was done reluctantly to make it easier to sing. 5. Questions: Email nhianhchu@aol.com Cha`o Ca’c Em. Thu+’ Hai ga(.p la.i. Tha^`y Anh |
